Malachite chrysocolla

ETYMOLOGY:  MALAQUITA = It comes from the greek malache = mallow ( the color mauve like the leaves of this plant), also of greek malakos = soft (for its low hardness). CHRYSOCOLLA = chrysos comes from greek that is "gold" and koala "glue", as the Greeks used this mineral for welding pieces of gold.
