Red aventurine

ETYMOLOGYIt comes from the Italian venture, which means "random". It is an allusion to the chance discovery of a synthetic crystal aventurine.
MINERAL CLASS: Oxide, quartz group.
HARDNESS: 7 on the Mohs scale.
FIELDSBrazil, India, Austria (Steiermark) Russia (Urals, Siberia) and Tanzania.

MINERALOGY: It grows in magmatitas (Magma = mass of molten rock) sediments and crystalline slates. Rock of metamorphic origin of fine-grained, dark colored laminated structure. It is characterized by the presence of certain inclusions. which they give their color (in this case yellow) and cause a whiteout known as aventurinado special effect. (Inclusions of Incorporations of hematites or of goethite, they give to the aventurina a dun reddish color, or hematite plates. Small to move the stone glows occur).
