Celestial Quartz with Albite

This celestial quartz with albite is a natural piece of great presence, formed by a main quartz crystal of a dark, smoky tone, with well-defined faces and an intense, mirror-like shine. Around it grow white crystals of albite, a feldspar that forms lamellar clusters and provides a luminous contrast against the dark quartz.

Each piece is unique and unrepeatable: the shape of the quartz crystal, the arrangement of the albite and the details of the matrix vary from one to another, the result of a slow formation process over thousands of years within the Earth.

How to care for your piece

• Clean it with a soft brush or a dry cloth to remove dust from between the crystals.
• Avoid knocks and drops: although quartz is hard, albite is somewhat more fragile and its laminae can chip.
• If it needs rinsing, use fresh water and dry it carefully, avoiding leaving moisture between the crystals.
• Place it in a bright spot to appreciate the mirror-like shine of the quartz and the contrast with the white albite.
